About Mayor Sorenson
Born and raised, in a working class family, in Sheboygan, Mayor Ryan Sorenson has dedicated his life to serving our community. After graduating from South High and attending UW-Milwaukee, he returned home to work and serve. Elected to City Council in 2017 and then as mayor in 2021, Ryan has a strong record of leadership and results.

Ryan is running for reelection because he believes in his hometown. He believe in a shared vision for a brighter future—a future where every neighborhood thrives, where families feel safe, and where every person has the opportunity to thrive.
